A reminder that the best 16 teams in the NBA won't be in the playoffs next month. If the NBA ended the conference playoff system and put the best 16 teams in the league in the postseason, and if the current standings held, this is what the bracket would look like. Oh well. Better to let the West teams bludgeon themselves while the top two squads in the East breeze through two rounds. Better we have two sub-.500 teams in the playoffs than Russell Westbrook or Anthony Davis.
