Rush Limbaugh today expressed his annoyance with the argument about gay people being discriminated against just for “who they love.” Limbaugh said it’s not about love, it’s about gay marriage and people with “prohibitions against it” or who don’t engage in “activity which lends credence or support to gay marriage.” And then Limbaugh asked, “where does that stop? If you’re gonna start throwing the phrase around ‘who you love,’ what happens if you love your dog?” He recalled the case of a woman who married a dolphin in England nine years ago and said gay marriage opponents are just being scolded about being “against love.” And, so, Limbaugh wondered, “But ‘who they’ love, what does that mean? Where does that stop?” And he brought up the dolphin again.
