Sam Allardyce is looking for an instant response from his side's fifth defeat of the season and believes their home form could hold the key to getting a good result against Arsenal. With West Ham in fourth spot on Christmas Day, both John Terry and Diego Costa were the scrooges for West Ham as Chelsea made the Hammers look like they had too much turkey with a comfortable 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day. But Allardyce believes his sharp-shooting side can exploit Arsenal's defence if they use the ball the right way. Allardyce said: "We've got to try and bounce back from this result. I'm relying on the home form we have shown in the last seven games. "It shows the type of form we're in at Upton Park and were turning it into a real fortress again and I hope it's going to be the case against Arsenal on Sunday. "Against Arsenal, you've got to get at them in them in the right way, to make sure you get at a defence that can be suspect at times, but you've got to be good enough on the ball in order to get in those areas. If you can do that then maybe you can catch them out." But the Gunners have an excellent record at Upton Park, winning seven of their last eight games at the Boleyn Ground. The Hammers last victory against Arsene Wenger's men came in 2006 when Marlon Harewood grabbed a late winner. But Big Sam said history will not come into it on Sunday.
