We only reported yesterday that Gmail had disappeared in China, but it looks like Chinese Gmail users are getting access to their accounts once again, after a huge four-day outage. Google’s own Transparency Report shows that there is a slight jump in traffic, but it is nowhere near what it was on, and before Christmas Day. The Chinese government has been blaming Google, while Google has been blaming the Chinese government – in a tit-for-tat fight over why Google’s infamous e-mail service went down in the country.
