ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJLA) – A fight that broke out at Westfield Annapolis Mall the afternoon of Black Friday caused panic among shoppers, many of whom thought there was an active shooter in the building. According to Anne Arundel County Police, the fight took place in the food court. The involved parties overturned tables, causing glass to shatter and a loud bang. Many shoppers mistook the noises for gunfire. No injuries were reported. Police say the mall remains open and has resumed normal operations.
