While most of the focus this weekend was on a certain trailer, the holiday box office was fairly tepid. In at number 1 is The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 with $56 million. Although last week’s big winner retained its top spot, it did fall about 56%, on a holiday weekend no less. Regardless, Mockingjay – Part 1 is doing just fine at the box office, with $225 million domestic and $480 million worldwide. As a matter of fact, the film is already the 7th highest-grossing domestic release of the year.
