WASHINGTON (WJLA) – Thousands of dollars worth of valuables were stolen from a D.C. apartment this week and it was all caught on video. The burglary happened around noon on Wednesday in the 1100 block of Euclid Ave. in northwest D.C. In a video released by the victim, Tommy Rossman, three men can be seen breaking into the apartment and searching for items ( See the full video in the sidebar on the left ). The suspects stole watches, laptops and other electronics, including the camera that recorded them breaking into the apartment. “So even though they took the camera with them, I still have the video in the cloud and I was able to give it to the police,” said Rossman. Thanks to the clear and quality footage from the camera, D.C. police seemed confident that they would find the suspects. This was the second time Rossman’s apartment was burglarized in the two years he’s lived in the Euclid Street apartment building. Rossman said he installed reinforced locks on his door for extra security to avoid being robbed again and purchased a motion-detecting drop camera. “It’s scary because it could happen to anybody,” said Amari Yarbrough, one of Rossman's neighbors. Among the items stolen was an iPad that Rossman said had a tracking app. Police were able to find three locations the suspects visited after they left thanks to the app. Rossman said he was out running errands when the burglary happened and that may have saved his life. “So if
