Shutterstock Thanks has been given. Less than compelling football was played. Already, America has moved on to poking fun at the new Star Wars teaser and dreading the commute back home. At least, the people who foolishly traveled for Thanksgiving are dreading it. As someone who sat at home and ate turkey while pecking at my laptop, these are the only people to whom I can briefly feel superior. Aside from the satisfaction of watching Dallas and San Francisco get stomped in their own houses, the games on Thanksgiving were no great shakes. My displeasure with watching blowouts seems a little intense on second reading. I will blame that on being at the end of a 12-hour shift on a holiday plus drinking. Perhaps it was Marshawn Lynch’s continued contempt for the media that has been rethinking how much Thursday’s games upset me. Wait, no, no, I take it back; it was definitely this guy’s tweet: Twitter Ah yes, that’s where the NFL went wrong. Really, the savior of the week was Odell Beckham’s amazing one-handed catch . He’s only been recognized as an emerging star for a few weeks now and I’m already sad that he’s stuck playing for the Giants. For now, I will reserve judgment on the greatness of Johnny Manziel’s hotel lobby brawl because I’m not sure how trustworthy the alleged victim and his brother are. Still, I really want to believe a huge melee broke out because some dude wanted a hug. Looking ahead, on Sunday there’s another meeting
