The Lehigh softball team improved to 7-0 in Patriot League games and extended its winning streak to 14 straight games with a doubleheader sweep of Bucknell Saturday at Kaufman Field. Behind a strong, but balanced offensive attack the Mountain Hawks totaled 22 runs on 24 hits in taking game one 11-3 in five innings and game two 11-2 in five. Juniors MacKenzie Velasquez and Alexis Watanabe both had four hits on the day while the Mountain Hawks hit three home runs on a sunny but windy afternoon. With the two victories Lehigh improves to 23-3 overall. Bucknell falls to 19-16 overall and 1-4 in the league. The Mountain Hawks have now outscored their opponents 42-7 in their four game homestand.
