moments before Kane goal http://ift.tt/1b6j5Ku — Stephanie Vail (@myregularface) April 18, 2015 Patrick Kane was a little too eager to get out onto the ice during the second period of the Chicago Blackhawks game against the Nashville Predators. He skated out while Chicago very clearly already had five men on the ice and promptly fired a nice wrist shot past Pekka Rinne into the back of the net. Should Kane’s goal have counted? No. But the officials missed the call and despite the livid objections of Preds coach Peter Laviolette, the goal stayed on the board. The Blackhawks also had six men on the ice for their goal celebration. That’s clearly six people in the post-goal hug. Photo: USA TODAY Sports But, the Blackhawks’ triumph was short lived. Kane’s goal helped keep it close for a few minutes but they eventually fell 6-2 to the Predators after a disastrous third period. The 3 goals the Predators scored in a 2:19 span in 3rd period are the fastest 3 goals the team has scored in their postseason history. — ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) April 18, 2015 Up next for discussion in Chicago? Whether goalie Corey Crawford or backup Scott Darling should start Game 3.
