By Joe Bilello, Fox News Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has come under a lot of fire recently for questioning Pres. Obama's love of America. Were Giuliani's comments unwarranted? Maybe. Were they completely outrageous and unfounded? Hardly. Barack Obama began his presidency with a world tour apologizing for everything America is and has ever been. He seems to take every opportunity to conjure up images of historical injustices, like slavery and Jim Crow. When not referencing past atrocities, he joins his colleagues in concocting fictitious current injustices like a war on women or a racist, violent police epidemic. When asked if he believes in American exceptionalism, Pres. Obama responded, "I believe in American exceptionalism, just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism." If it is unfair to suggest that Pres. Obama does not love America, it is safe to assume that some of his acquaintances - like domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn and his "mentor" Rev. Jeremiah Wright - have less than unconditional love for their country. Was Giuliani wrong to say Obama does not love America? I hope so. But is it absurd that an individual would conclude that Barack Obama, based on his past comments and associations, may not share the same love of country that many Americans do? Many of us want to believe that Obama, despite his past, loves America. We
